The pie charts compare how X and Y Universities allocated their budget between during the school year 2000-2001. Overall, although both universities had distributed their school fund on teachers expenses by a similar proportion, budgets for books and new facilities were the exact opposite for the two schools.

To begin with, both X and Y University had (do not use past perfect tense here) allocated their school budget on four categories such as teachers salary, training for teachers, books, and new facilities.

Interestingly, the salaries of the teachers in both school were proportionately identical, at 25% (25 percent should not be linked to identical but to salaries + 25 percent of what?)

Interestingly, both schools allocated 25 percent of their budget to teachers’ salaries. Likewise, fund allocation for the training of their teachers were also synonymous in ratio, accounting for the two-fifths one-fifth of the budget.

Likewise, the schools spent an equal proportion of funds, 20 percent of the budget (Modifer), to the training of their teachers.

On the other hand, while the allowance for the expenditures on teachers were the same, the money distributed for the two universities’ new facilities and books were dissimilar. In X University, the money spent on books and new facilities were 30% and 25% respectively. Conversely, Y University’s budget were; books (25%) and new facilities (30%). university spent a quarter of its funds on books and 30 percent of budget on new facilities.

Note: Never use %. Write percent. Moreover, never write percent alone. 20 percent of what? 25 percent of what? Quarter of what?

I hope this helps.

  1. the pie chart displays the budget for two universities in the years of 2000 to 2001. The universities are named X and Y. Budget is allocated in four areas; books, salaries of the teachers, training of the teachers and new facilities.
Amazingly both universities budgted same amount for the salaries of the teachers which is quarter of their budget. similarly both universities assigned 30 percent of their budget for the training of their teachers. In the line of new facilities, 25 and 30 percent are spent on X and Y universities respectively. University X consumed 30 percent of the budget on books while Y is less than 5 percent to that of X.
So, what fascinating is that how two different academic institutions could have same budget allocations for their programs. unless there is somekind of reconcilation on the programs, each isntitution is expected to be different and it is rarely to see two universities with same teachers.
