IELTS Academic Task 1 Correction: Scores of Three Teams -3.

The bar chart shows the scores of teams A, B, and C over four different seasons.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar graph compares the scores of three teams A, B, (Oxford comma) and C in between 2002 and 2005 year. (Many students miss the Oxford comma. I highly recommend it as reduces confusion. Please read about it HERE.)

Overall, team B’s scores score was comparatively higher than that of other team (Do not compare Apples and oranges. How can score of a team be compared with other teams? You can compare a team with another team and score of one team with the score of other teams.) throughout the period. Similarly, team A performance on 2002 was lowest while team C on 2005.

Similarly, team A scored least points during 2002 while team C scored least in 2005. (Try placing the object of time at the end of a sentence.)

Initially, in 2002, team B scored 82 points which were 8 eight times more than that of team A and C. That score was also the highest score of given 4 four years. Team C had scored (Where should you use the Past Perfect Tense?) just 10 points while 5 for team A.

Similarly, in 2003, the figure of all team was quite similar to (How can figures be similar to a year? Apples and oranges. Remember.) 2002 but the performance of team C decreased to 60 points and other team scores rose by 5 in each team.

In case of 2004, team C score continuously decreased and remained at 42 points but team A (Not the team but score.) dramatically climbed and reached close to A (Same mistake. Apples and Oranges) with 35 score point.

With regards in 2005, team B’s performance was maintained so score suddenly increased and remained at 55 but for other remaining teams, the score was scores were 8 and 5 for team A and C respectively.

    After the correction i have send you this report.
    either it is right or wrong please analyse it.
    my doubt is: is it appropriate to write “in case of 2004″and “with regards in 2005” ?.
