The given bar chart presents data about the percentage of adults pursuing education for seven different reasons. The pie chart informs how the cost of this education should be shared among taxpayers, individuals, and employers. (Introduction)
Let us structure the question: Devote one paragraph to the bar chart and another to the pie chart.
Clearly, most of the adults surveyed prefer education because of interest in the subject. This is closely followed by 38 percent adults who pursue studies to gain a qualification. Around 20 percent of the people surveyed gain education because it either helps in the current job or improves prospects of promotion. Another 20 percent do it since they love learning new things. About 12 percent prefer it to change jobs, while the least percentage of adults use it to meet new people.
The individuals surveyed believe that while 35 percent of the cost of education should be borne by the employer, another 25 percent should come from taxpayer funds. They prefer paying only 40 percent of the cost.
