In some parts of the world, it is becoming popular to research the history of one’s own family. Why do people want to do this? Is it a positive or negative development?

IELTS: 40 minutes, 250 words at least.

PTE: 20 minutes, 200 to 300 words.

Undoubtedly, Research researching the history of one’s own family is becoming more crucial and popular in the global these days. The family history gives knowledge about the family roots such as hometown and culture (this is also a reason – personal history). People research the family history due to several reasons such as medical history and personal history. From my perspective, it is the mostly positive and rarely negative development in the present family life. (63 words.)

Firstly, medical history is significant important to know some genetic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, cancer, and osteoporosis. It helps in the prevention of many hereditary diseases in the early stages with the help of a doctor’s advice and checkups, regular exercise, and give up unhealthy healthy lifestyles (Parallelism mistake). Furthermore, several superior genes also transfer from one generation to another generation. For instance, most families have same traits such as personality, skills, and nature among family members. (Superior genes is a different point from medical history. Please give its use.Consequently, an understanding of a family’s history helps a person choose a better career. (73 words.)

Secondly, personal history of a family helps to know about culture, religion, and hometown in which the great-grandparents (Better use: ancestors) were living lived (tense mistake). Moreover, some beneficial life advice cultural and religious guidance through eternal quotes of the Gita and Koran are is helpful in overcoming from problems. Nevertheless, it builds a positive development when persons people have curiosity about their grandparents ancestors’ life, they sit with them and do carry-out conversations. It develops a feeling of love, care, and unity between among family members. In contrast, a negative development such as racism also builds in rare cases. For example, in many countries, jobs have been giving on superior or inferior bases. it effects eligible individuals. ??? (Superior and inferior basis = Class divide.) (96 words.)

To conclude, whatever the reason behind finding family history, it can lead to mostly positive effect on future generations and successful family life (Parallelism violated). Similarly, it also prevents  genetic diseases occurrence  and promotes health as well as unity among family members. (40 words. Learn the art of writing a simple yet powerful conclusion.)
