I am a regular customer of your company and I am writing this letter to complain about an inordinate delay in delivery of goods.
Last month I purchased an Apple laptop and ordered a courier to my brother as a surprise gift for his twentieth birthday. The laptop was supposed to be delivered at his Chennai home a week ago. However, my brother is yet to receive it. When I called your customer care centre to inquire about the reasons for the delay, your staff informed me that the item was yet to be dispatched. Moreover, the staff member did not even apologise for the company’s negligence.
This is one of the poorest services I have ever received from your company. Though the gift has lost the element of a ‘surprise gift’, I request you to dispatch it as soon as possible. Please note that my brother is leaving for the United States in a fortnight. Kindly ensure that the product safely reaches him in time.
