IELTS ESSAY CORRECTION: COMPANIES USE SPORTS EVENTS TO PROMOTE PRODUCTS.

Major companies use sport events to promote their products. Some people think it has a negative effect on sport. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer and include examples from your own experiences.

40 minutes, 250 words.

Answer:

In today’s ever competitive world where (sentence is incomplete is you use where) sports play an important role and have a great influence on people. That’s That is (do not use contractions) why major companies work on these sport events to popular make their goods popular.

In this case, some people believe that with the involvement of companies there are some consequences on sport (What consequences? Not clear. Task response is poor.). However, I think that, this has lot of good effects on games since it not only good for companies to market their products but also improves the quality of game by sponsoring to the sport academies.

Write in fewer words: While (connecting word) some people believe this (referencing) has adverse consequences, I think this (referencing) has positive effects since (connecting word) this (referencing) not only (connecting words) promotes products but also (connecting words) sponsors the sports infrastructure.

Generally, a lot of companies are looking for a chance to improve their sales and service by promoting their products by spending less amounts (less amount of what? Do not leave anything for assumption.). For that, sports are the one of the best platforms, because a huge number of spectators watch these events and it also takes place in at low budget. For instance, if a company place places a brand ambassador to promote their its (a company = singular; their = plural. Subject-pronoun disagreement) products, then the organisation has to give a lot amount pay a huge sum to that person. But, in case of these events they cannot invest a massive amount of money.

There is a chance to improve the quality of the sports by getting some money from the companies. The sport academies have an opportunity to maintain good kits in good condition for the players who are working on their games and also they provide good nutritional food, gyms, hotels, and excellent training facilities by hiring experience people in that area of sport. For example, the game cricket involves with needs money for a lot of things like cricket kits, trainers, hygiene food for players, dresses, hotels, and finally good grounds for practicing the game. Without proper income they should not give all these facilities (whose income? Cricket’s? Company’s? Not clear. No mention of promotion as a source of financing sports infrastructure. In conclusion, if the sport boards give a chance to the corporates to market their goods and products then it will benefit the both the (link an article – the – with a noun) companies and academies. It improves not only the market for the companies but also the standard of games of all nations in the world.

    Although such topics, in all likelihood, never will yield in a consensual agreement, a constructive dialogue on the effect of products promotion during sports events can lead to thought-provoking discussions. My view is that irrespective of the numerous disputes arise on either side, promotion during sports events has more positive impacts than it’s negative ones on the sport.

    On the one hand, there are some people who shed light on the fact that promotion during sports events would mislead the people. Such people argue that, Most of the promotion during sports events has no value. For instance, products with no value have negative effects on the sport.

    However, in spite of these arguments, I believe that products promotion during sports events can lead to various favorable consequences. Firstly, it gives chance for small companies with low budget to expose to people. For example, a startup company needs to be propagated during huge events. Secondly, this promotion supports the sports financially for better stadiums and so on. Lastly, in a nutshell, it acts as a sponsorship for the events to appear in good shape.

    I see that there is potential evidence to fortify the contention I have provided. Thus, I am inclined to come to the conclusion that I agree with the promotion of products during sports events.
