I’m living in North Indian state of Punjab which is famous for food and beverages industry in the world. One of the many such companies with manufacturing facilities in the state is Nestle. The company employs more than 10,000 people in its Sangrur plant. (Introduction, Name)

Nestle is a leading producer of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) in the world and the company uses its plant in Sangrur for production of Lays and other snacks for the South Asian market. Since the population of this region is huge, the company, reportedly produces more than a million packets every day. Consequently, it needs a huge workforce. (What it does)

I believe the company is an ethical employer that takes care of its employees. I’ve never heard of any accident in the premises during the past 20 years. Nor have I come across any strike at the plant. The quality of goods is also excellent as it is evident from massive sales throughout South Asia. (What do you think)
