With a growing population, many people believe that we should focus on producing more GM foods. What are the advantages and disadvantages of doing this?

Answer:

The world’s population is increasing day-by-day and the sufficient food for these people is not reaching correctly (The problem is not that of reaching. It is lack of food. Task response.). In this case, some people opine that that the modern technology has the responsibility to do the advancements in food technology for producing more genetically modified foods for today’s people in the world. Write in a simpler form: Some people opine that it is modern technology’s responsibility to produce more food to meet needs of growing human population using genetic engineering (genetically modified crops).

However, remaining people others believe that the advancements in food technology gives give/ have (advancements – give) adverse consequences to on the people’s health because these are not naturally producing foods.

By the involvement of the modern technology in food, the outcome of the required quantity of the crops is high as compared to the natural food crops and also these food items stock go for many days (“have a longer shelf life” OR “are less perishable”) than the natural food. These are the necessary things in today’s generation. While (While is used to present contradiction. There is no contradiction here.) Since today’s human population is nearly 7 billion, we must focus on advancements in food technology. For example, if any country suffers from the rains and floods for so many several days, the stock of this modern food helps a lot in during that time because, the natural foods are unable to stock (food can’t stock itself) for long days.

There are some negative effects from these types of foods to today’s people. Firstly, lack of quantity in producing the foods by the genetic modifying methods. With this all people may not have good health for ages. So the people suffer from some digestion problems and there may be a chance for changes in DNA. For instance, a lot of surveys already said that, by the advancements in food technology, there will be some adverse effects for the future generation’s health, activeness, and strength (This is not an example. An example must have data and facts – the underlined words below. Let me re-write your example: A 2016 survey by the World Health Organisation revealed that genetically modified foods are responsible for increasing incidence of heart disease among young Americans.).

In conclusion, even though we have a lot of benefits from GM foods, there are some problems. If the government takes the responsibility in these GM foods, then, the negative consequences will reduce not only for today’s people but also for the future generation’s health.
