Millions of people every year move to English speaking countries such as Australia, Britain or America in order to study at school, college or university. Why do so many people want to study in English? Why is English such an important international language?
40 minutes, 250 words at least.
Each year a
substantial part of global population (I’m sure its not substantial global population) large number of talented international students migrate to English speaking countries for example such as Australia, England and United States of America to seek primary, secondary and tertiary education. People prefer to study in English because of its preferred acceptance in their home countries. Moreover, by providing standard global interaction, English has acquired a status of common international language. (Please mention the reasons why people study English language in a single sentence: People prefer studying English not only because of its acceptance in home job market but also because of its status as international business language.)
Now-a-days, majority of worldwide population prefers their education through English based institutions since
it (what does IT refer to? It certainly does not refer to the English language.) English language proficiency has become an important criterion for most of jobs worldwide. The fact This is obvious as staff at multinational companies must be acquainted with sound English listening and speaking skills in order to interact with customers from different countries. For example, according to a National survey in Pakistan in 2015, jobs in most multi-national companies such as Coca Cola, Tata and Bata have a basic requirement of English proficiency. (The paragraph logically presents arguments and examples.)
Moreover, English, which is regarded as global language, is a mainstream means of communication since western dominance in art and science has allowed English to over shadow many national languages even in their home countries. For example, according to a survey held in London in 2015, it is stated that about 90 percent of worldwide interaction, which is mostly in
form of international meetings and conferences or through social media, is carried out in English. (perfect use of modifiers! Collocation and cohesion are nicely constructed.)
In conclusion, English as a language has attained a role of core-coordination not only
at official side in business but also in academics. This factor draws public attention towards prime value of English and encourages them to learn English effectively in western countries.
