Describe an important event in your life that you have celebrated recently. Please say

– What was it?
– Who was celebrating it with you?
– How did you celebrate it?

Answer:

Since (cohesion) I’m an extrovert person (collocation), I love going to parties and inviting others to my celebrations. Last month, my family and I celebrated my parent’s silver jubilee, and I invited all my close friends. There were about 100 people in the grand function (collocation) at one of the most expensive hotels (collocation) in New York.

A week before the function my brother and I began meticulous preparations (collocation) for the event. We were very careful in selecting various items (collocation) ranging from (cohesion) cuisines to cutlery. We selected North Indian, Italian and Chinese cuisines and there were more than 25 food items in the menu. The idea was to take care of everyone’s tastes and preferences. Moreover (cohesion), we arranged light, romantic music (collocation) from the Yorkers, a famous music band in New York. A stage was carefully constructed (collocation) so that (cohesion) my parents could dance to the music while (cohesion) all guests enjoyed the delicious food (collocation). It was a memorable experience (collocation).
