Introduction: The widening gap between the rich and the poor is an issue of grave concern since this can lead to increase in crime and less prosperous society. However, some viable measures can be taken to ameliorate the situation (should I mention solutions here as well?).

Bp1: 1⃣Rise in crime by poor people to fulfill their needs and desires. Poor may get envy of the rich wasting money on needless things and they may assume stealing or kidnapping as a right way to gain money from those who have in abundance.
2⃣ that society can never be a healthy place to live even for the wealthy families where one see people dying of hunger or not being able to pay for medical facilities. Prosperity depends on the well-being of all the citizens.

Solutions: 1⃣By providing free education, healthcare and food to those who are below poverty line. 2⃣Reservation for underprivileged in employment.

Conclusion: negative consequences of rich-poor disparity range from an increase in crime rate to a socially unstable nation. Nevertheless, govt can mitigate the problem by providing free amenities and special quota while employing less privileged.
