Nowadays, it is argued that for
progressive social and psychological growth of a school going child as socially and psychologically, mentors (who says mentors refer to teachers only? For example, according to a recent survey conducted by Central board of schools education, 73% students who are going into schools are found to be highly interactive, social and mentally strong as comparison compared to children who were a part of home education.
Admittedly, parents have crucial importance in
developing making children socially active. When a child watches parents regarding following social ethics and maintaining responsible behaviour, he learns better by imitating and following them more appropriately. Parents can also guide and correct children when they make mistakes unintentionally because a child spends more time with parents as compared to teachers. Hence, parents can enhance the social bond of their children by leading them from time to time.
