The world of work is changing rapidly. Working conditions today are not the same as before and people no longer rely on taking one job for life. Discuss the possible causes of these changes and give your suggestions on how people should prepare for work in the future.

It is a fact that the job market is undergoing a constant change at an unprecedented fast pace (an unprecedentedly fast pace.). Its terms and conditions are no longer as before and the labor force worldwide has embraced a new pattern in their life. The greed of capitalism is one key factor for this epidemic which could be confronted experienced (confront = facing somebody with hostility, anger) by people exerting themselves further. 

Capitalism is dominating the economy of most of the countries in the world. Money is their (whose motive? Countries?) motive. In order to make more, capitalism misses no chance of funding any project even though its output is a technology that would replace thousands of humans and make them redundant. They are compelled to look for new jobs every few years. (Task response.) Driverless cars which Google, the software giant, is currently in the final phase of testing them are an example of a technology that will be soon available and will result in thousands of drivers losing their job. Google is expecting millions of dollars in revenue after publishing commercializing this technology to the world. (Though the grammar is fine and you have logically developed the idea, the TASK RESPONSE is poor. You are meant to write “Why people change jobs frequently?”) This disruption and many others in different industries force employees to be on their toes and keep learning new skills. They, thus, shift jobs more frequently.

You can write another body paragraph if you wish. Let me present the idea:

Body Paragraph 2: Moreover, due to a rapid increase in expenses during the last few decades coupled with a marginal increase in salary, people have lost purchasing power. It is extremely difficult to run a household these days. Consequently, many individuals are always searching for better employment prospects and they are ever ready to abandon their previous employer. This leads to a frequent shifting from one company to another.

In order to prepare for the constantly changing work requirements and lack of stability, people need to take every possible opportunity to learn new skills which can be easily transferable from job to job one job to another. (Can you explain this in one sentence? Computer engineers, for instance, have upgraded from building websites to developing artificial intelligence machines in the last decade.) Also, they have to be up to date with the latest statistics on the most wanted job in the market. (EXPLAIN: This can be done by closely watching the latest developments in their respective fields.) Another point is to keep an eye on the latest news regarding the intentions of the big companies so they can prepare upfront to the worst case scenarios. (EXPLAIN: Since most of the developments take years to implement if employees keep a track of companies’ intentions, they can prepare for the future. For example, it took more than two decades for computers to proliferate in every home and typists had this long period to study Microsoft’s, HP’s and Dell’s intentions to adapt to this change.)

To conclude, although the bad effects of the ever-changing work market is are tangible (Effects cannot be tangible. Tangible is something that can be touched. For example, the pen and paper you use in the IELTS exam. Or your laptop.) responsible for in destabilizing people’s life, workforce can mitigate them by being vigilant to these changes and learning the most wanted skills.
