- Describe your future wife/husband.
- What will happen at the wedding?
- Why do you want to invite him/her?
20 minutes, 150 words at least.
Answer:
Hi John,
I hope you are doing well. I am deliriously happy and extremely excited to tell you that I am getting married on 8/Oct/2018 the 8th of October.
First of all, let me tell you about my future wife. Her name is Lucy and she is 25 years old. By profession, she is a Software Engineer and is currently working in New York. Lucy is originally from the same city where I am from, Delhi. Though it is an arranged marriage, coincidentally we studied in the same school (Let us combine the two sentences to make a better presentation: Though this is an arranged marriage, Lucy and I belong to the same city, Delhi, and have studied in the same school, St. Marry.). I have already told her about you and our memories of college days. She is really excited to meet you.
The marriage will take place at Hotel Taj, New Delhi. As this would be a kind of traditional marriage, all the customs and rituals of the Hindu religion will be followed. There will be a Disco-Jockey for a dance party and a wide range of indigenous cuisine of India. I am sure that you will love this memorable day of my life.
I have another reason for inviting you. (This creates continuity with the previous paragraph.) Since I have to do plenty of shopping, I want you to lend me a helping hand in this tedious (cumbersome) task. As you know, how bad I am at I do not like shopping.
Cumbersome = something awkward, strange. Tedious = boring. Tedious means that you do not like something.
Eagerly waiting to see you soon.
With love,
William
