I am an extrovert and I regularly visit various hotels for parties. Last month, I went to the Four Seasons hotel for a friend’s birthday party. Much to my disappointment, the food of this famous brand was abominable. The soup was bland and the vegetables were undercooked. (A little background and raise the issue.)
I had visited this place several times in the past, but had never experienced such bad preparation. It felt as a shock and I knew that, as a regular guest, I must inform the management of this issue. So, I approached the reception desk and requsted an immediate meeting with the Beverages and Food Manager. (Why did you raise the complaint?)
Mr. Dutta, the manager, was a very patient man and he heard my complaint for more than 15 minutes. To my satisfaction, he immediately called the chef and both of them tasted the food. They agreed with me that the food was indeed bland and under-cooked. The chef apologized and called his staff to rectify the issue. All dishes were called back and we were served fresh food after 30 minutes. This time everything tasted good and the hotel stood up to its brand. (What was the resut? Make the result positive.)
