There is a problem with the changing room in your gym. You reported it several times, but it was not resolved. Write a letter to the gym manager. In your letter:-
- Describe the problem.
- Explain what the gym’s response was when you reported the problem.
- Say what you would like the manager to do about the problem.
Answer:
Dear Manager,
I am writing this letter to escalate (You’re not ESCALATING the issue. It means flaring up the issue. Increasing the size of the problem. You’re raising an issue.) an issue regarding the changing room in the Quill branch of your Celebrity fitness gym. The changing room’s roof has a water leakage since last week, which is creating a problem for all the members. (Try to get out of the “I am writing this letter” thinking.)
I am a member of your gym’s Quill branch for the last six months and I have really enjoyed its perfect facilities. However, for the last few days, the clients have been facing a water leakage issue in the changing room.
I have reported this issue thrice to the supervisor. Unfortunately, no serious action has been taken since the day it was first reported. Since the room is extensively used by all the members as well as staff, it should be repaired soonest as soon as possible. (The last sentence is NOT about the question: GYM’S RESPONSE. It is a general statement about the need for changing room. Please elaborate on the gym’s response (explain ‘no serious action‘.). Though a plumber visited twice and the room was temporarily shut for a few hours, the problem remained unsolved.)
Meanwhile, I request you to please (this is included in the word ‘request’.) arrange an alternate room which can be used as a changing room so that the members do not have to face this issue until the time (until includes time) it is fixed. I suggest you make the Zumba room as a temporary changing room since there are no Zumba classes scheduled for the coming week.
I hope the issue mentioned above gets resolved by next week.
Yours faithfully,
John
